Dubai to Host Middle East Energy 2026 in September

By Morgan, on Fri Mar 06 2026

News

Dubai will host the 2026 edition of Middle East Energy (MEE) from September 1 to 3 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), marking the event’s 50th edition and reinforcing the emirate’s position as a meeting point for the global power sector. Organiser Informa confirmed the new dates, noting that the shift to September is meant to give companies and delegations more room to plan travel, shipping logistics, and product launches.
Around 50,000 attendees from 178 countries are expected to pass through the halls of DWTC during the three-day gathering, which continues to function as one of the region’s largest platforms for the electricity and energy industry. For UAE businesses, the event has quietly become one of those yearly checkpoints where people come not just to sell equipment, but to see where the sector is heading next.
According to Mark Ring, Group Director for Energy & Power at Informa, the event continues to serve a straightforward purpose, like bringing the global power and energy community into the same physical space to exchange ideas, showcase technologies, and form partnerships. He said the September timing allows exhibitors and visitors to “fully leverage this landmark event” while organisers remain focused on delivering a smooth experience for participants.
By the time the doors close on the third day, many companies leave with new suppliers, new software integrations, or sometimes just a clearer sense of what problems are coming next.
