For many existing QuickBooks users, yes. If your accounts team already knows the desktop workflow, moving away just because something newer exists can create more work than it solves. Premier handles invoicing, inventory, jobs, budgets, forecasts, and detailed reports well.
Up to five users can work in QuickBooks Premier at the same time. For a small accounts team, that may be perfectly fine.
It can handle more than basic stock quantities. Premier supports inventory assemblies, purchase records, sales activity, and item-level reporting. That becomes useful when a business actually builds, buys, sells, and tracks products rather than simply recording invoices after the fact.
Premier gives you more room for detailed work. You get industry editions, inventory assemblies, forecasting, and additional reporting options.
